Dr. Niloufar Danesh is a board-certified periodontist dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Her passion for dentistry was sparked early in life, inspired by her mother—a respected periodontist and professor—whose meaningful relationships with patients and commitment to improving their oral health left a lasting impression. This foundation motivated Dr. Danesh to pursue a career in periodontology, combining science, precision, and compassion.

After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Danesh deepened her commitment to community health by completing a Master of Public Health at Texas A&M University. Her research during this time focused on the relationship between periodontal and systemic health, further reinforcing her dedication to evidence-based care and the broader impact of oral health on overall well-being.

Dr. Danesh completed her residency in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a distinction that reflects her clinical excellence and commitment to the highest standards in her specialty.

Her academic contributions include multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, with topics ranging from the importance of keratinized gingiva around implants to innovative surgical techniques for implant placement in challenging cases. She has presented her work at national conferences such as the Academy of Osseointegration, and has been recognized with prestigious awards including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Research Grant and the “Residents in Regeneration Case Challenge” award.

In clinical practice, Dr. Danesh specializes in the treatment of advanced periodontal disease, gum recession, bone regeneration, and dental implant therapy. She integrates the latest techniques and technologies—such as minimally invasive procedures and laser-assisted therapies—to provide optimal outcomes and comfortable experiences for her patients.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Danesh is committed to service and community outreach. She actively volunteers with organizations such as Give Kids a Smile, Hospice, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities, aiming to extend compassionate care to those who need it most.

Now based in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Danesh and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors with their young child—hiking, biking, and camping. At home, they love exploring new cuisines, cooking, and creating lasting memories together as a family.
